The 15th event took place on 4 October 2021, and it was a great success. It was our first attended event since March 2020, and we were very pleased to see 40 people in person, at Northumbria Law School. We were also joined by 95 attendees remotely. The star speaker was Mrs Justice O’Farrell DBE, who very kindly allowed us to publish her talk, and this can be found below.
As promised, the winner of the Newcastle Business and Property Court Prize for the best essay in the Northumbria Bar Students’ Association Essay Competition was also announced on this occasion. Congratulations to Oliver Murrell on winning this prestigious award, and having the pleasure of receiving his prize from Mrs Justice O’Farrell DBE.
